Nathan Wells

About Nathan

Nathan has been a BSA camp staff member for the past 12 years, starting his camping career in Michigan at Rota-Kiwan Scout Reservation as a Counselor in Training in 2012 before moving up to Program Director in 2018. During this time he also served as the Membership Specialist at YMCA of Greater Kalamazoo, where he assisted members and ran member engagement events for the Association.

He made the big move to South Dakota in 2023 and worked as the Program Specialist for the Sioux Council and Program Director for Lewis & Clark Scout Reservation. He has certifications through the American Camp Association and BSA National Camping School.

Nathan has worked in all the areas of the camping world from Cubcraft (his favorite) to the STEM center, to running the show. He is an Eagle Scout with three Eagle Palms out of Troop 410 of Constantine, MI, and he's also served in troop positions such as Assistant Scoutmaster and District Committee Member.

Nathan enjoys all the time that he can get in the great outdoors!
